In Puerto Vallarta Mexico, we had a favorite restaurant that overlooked the malecon. I can’t remember the name of it, all I remember was that we always asked the taxi driver to take us to the “Seahorse” statue, and there it was. Upstairs, the restaurant always offered us a balcony table overlooking the malecon. The sun would set over the ocean, the mariachi bands would come up to entertain us, and we dined on wonderful Mexican cuisine as the visitors and tourists strolled below us under a setting sun.
